By design, our programs are of longer duration to ensure that you receive the individual treatment and opportunity for success you deserve. With regular follow-up and skill development, our team will guide you on the path to weight loss and better health, emphasizing patient education and long-term lifestyle modification for lifelong weight management success.
Your personal weight loss plan begins with an initial comprehensive evaluation and consultation with Dr. Turke. Because your care is individualized, many factors-including your needs, goals, medical history and budget-help to determine which plan is right for you.
Plan Options
Plan 1: very low-calorie diet (approx. 800 calories)
26-week plan designed for rapid weight loss, using a stimulus-controlled approach. Key components include the use of medically approved, nutritionally complete meal replacements, weekly follow-up visits and a choice of individual or group behavioral support.
Plan 2: low-calorie diet (approx. 1000-1500 calories)
26-week plan created for moderate weight loss with the option of meal replacements if desired. Patients are seen weekly and also have a choice of individual or group behavioral support.
Plan 3: low-calorie diet/no group visits
20-week plan developed for gradual weight loss. Similar to Plan 2, although it is of shorter duration and does not include group visits or visits with a behaviorist. Follow-up is every two to four weeks, alternating between physician and dietitian visits.
Regardless of the plan you choose, our team is there to support you throughout the process. Because our goal for you is lasting weight loss and better health, we offer a Continuing Care Program - an integral part of long-term weight management.
