Saint Mary's Extends Medical Mile with Major Land Purchase

The purchase of the former Eerdmans Publishing Company adds 4 acres to hospital property

January 13, 2006 Citing the need for future expansion, Saint Mary’s Health Care President Philip McCorkle announced today that the hospital has purchased the property at 255 Jefferson, SE, site of the former Eerdmans Publishing Company. “Saint Mary’s is growing, both on our main campus and in other parts of our region,” commented McCorkle, “and acquiring this property will meet some of the expansion needs we foresee in the next few years. ”

The property consists of 12 parcels and totals approximately 4 acres.

The purchase price was not disclosed.
