Saint Mary's Relay For Life Highlights

Thanks to everyone who came out and showed their support for Relay For Life at Forest Hills, this year on May 29 - 30, 2009.

Coralyn Martinez, RN, ONC, team captain, led the Saint Mary's team to become the second largest fundraising team. About 50 people joined Saint Mary's team. Michael Bennett, MD, spoke on behalf of Saint Mary's Health Care to the large crowd during the event.

Saint Mary's Health Care was the survivor sponsor of the event, whose proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society (ACS). Locally, the ACS has built a Hope Lodge, a "home-away-from-home" for out-of-town people undergoing cancer treatment at any of the Grand Rapids hospitals.

Thanks to everyone who also gave and supported Relay For Life through the purchase of raffle tickets.
