A Strong Foundation for Taking Care of All of You

In 1964, several devoted friends and colleagues of Frank Doran, longtime Saint Mary's physician, started a foundation in his honor to support Saint Mary's programs. Today, the Saint Mary's Doran Foundation continues to ensure excellence in health care by raising funds to support the hospital's mission and programs. With their support, West Michigan's first and only dedicated cancer hospital will become a reality when construction of the Richard J. Lacks Sr., Cancer Center is completed in 2004. Through their efforts, the Peter M. Wege Center for Health and Learning takes innovative health care to whole new level by integrating traditional medicine with massage, accupressure, music and other therapies that are proving to enhance patient comfort, care and healing. The new Parkinson's Clinic coming to Saint Mary's provides yet another testimony to their great work, building facilities and programs vital to the health of our community.

We at Saint Mary's take pride in our mission to provide excellent medical care to all persons, regardless of their ability to pay. In the spirit of Dr. Doran, we are committed to offering care in a way that honors the values and beliefs of the individuals and families who come to us for help.
